In a continued effort to empower residents of Owo and its environs, the Olori Romoke Daramola Empowering Foundation has announced the commencement of its 2025 Free Intensive Skill Acquisition Training Programme, scheduled to hold from August 11 to August 21, 2025.
The two-week training, which is absolutely free, is designed to equip participants with valuable and marketable skills, offering a practical pathway to self-reliance and entrepreneurship. According to the organizers, the programme is open to the general public, and all interested participants are encouraged to report to the designated venue (as indicated on the official flyer) by 8:00 am daily throughout the training period.
Participants will be trained in various high-demand skills aimed at enhancing their ability to start small businesses and create employment opportunities for others. At the end of the training, successful participants will be issued certificates to validate their participation and competence.
A statement from the foundation reads: “This is not just a training session; it’s a chance to change lives and build sustainable futures. We believe that empowering people with skills is one of the strongest weapons against poverty and unemployment.”
Olori Romoke Daramola, the visionary behind the initiative, has continued to gain praise for her unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and community development in Owo and beyond.
